Question Pencil in answer

Hi
My first post so please be gentle!

Tutorial says that you never have to guess but sometimes it useful to guess and pencil in an mark on the grid to see where it leads.

So how do you pencil in a mark to distinguish it from marks that you're sure about ?

TIA, H

Well , you can't actually pencil . What I do is fix in my mind where my 'pencil' mark is and if it doesn't work I just press "Undo" until it disappears .

Thumbs up

If you are playing online, make your positive guess. Then proceed with the puzzle. If it works, you guessed correctly. If you run into a contradiction, hit undo and back up to the guess and select the other option. This is really a form of logic to solve these and math proofs as well.

Agree, you just have to remember which choice you made that started the "unknown" sequence.
